Cajamarca is a beautiful region that is rich in history and culture. It sits at an elevation of 9000' in the Andes mountains, the longest mountain range in the world.  With its fantastic landscape, a mild highland climate and very fertile soil; the city of Cajamarca is well known for its dairy products and is surrounded by mining activity. Sadly over a quarter of the population face poverty, chronic malnutrition, and diminishing crop yields due to climate change.

The Lord has given us an opportunity to join efforts with Warmis Peru, a christian organization working in the area for several years through projects for women, children, farmers, Christian leaders and local churches. He has also opened doors for us with pastors in the surrounding communities allowing us to share His love with the local people as we support their efforts to reach their community.
