DESARROLLO LIMA-NORTE

The Department of Lima is located in the central coast of Peru, where Lima the capital of the country is situated. In the 1980s and 1990s, hundreds of thousands poor Peruvians came to Lima from other regions of the country to escape their living conditions and an uncontrolled growing shantytowns developed at Lima's outskirts. Today Metropolitan Lima is home to more than 8 million people. That is around one third of Peru's total population, ranking Lima as the 16th most populated city in the world.
The areas of Santa Rosa, Ancon and Huacho, located at the northern coast of Lima are now considered part of Lima-Norte (Lima-North) or Lima Chica (Small-Lima), and are the focus of our work in this region.

Here at SEEDS OF LOVE MISSIONS, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a seed of God's love and a little support. Since our first visit to Santa Rosa in 2013, we have been determined to make an impact by touching people and changing lives.
The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas, passion and godly wisdom to the range of activities we’re involved in. Our goal is to expand our presence in the area through leadership training and marriage conferences as we continue developing our relationships with the local Pastors.
